NWTCC 9th annual summit, another success!

Thank you for attending 2013 NWTCC 9th Annual Summit in Seattle. Over 20 participants representing 15 community organizations attended the last NWTCC Summit in September 2013.

The summit included presentations and discussions by a professor from University of Washington, State legislator, State Environmental Lobbyist, State Environmental Justice Coordinator, former mayor, and the director of UW Superfund Research Program Research Translation Core.

At the end of the summit, two journalists, Robert McClure and Kathie Durbin, were given investigative reporting awards of appreciation.   Robert McClure was attended and awarded.  Kathie's award was sent to her family.

Robert McClure's work: InvestigateWest

Kathie Durbin's last book: Bridging a Great Divide (2013)
